1. Change smoke detector batteries when you change your clocks.

2. Stove Safety. Pot handles should face inward. Be careful with dish towels and loose clothing as they can catch on fire easily. Make sure you turn off the stove when you are finished.

3. Don't overload outlets or power strips.

4. If your clothes are on fire, Stop, drop, and roll.

5. When you exit the house, have a predetermined meeting place. DO NOT GO BACK IN!!

6. Make sure everyone in your family (including pets) is accounted for. If someone is missing tell a  firefighter.

7. Discard any old propane tanks that show signs of  rust.

8. Please remember that a flashing blue light signifies a Firefighter or EMS Responder on their way to a call. If you see a vehicle with a flashing blue light please pull over to the side of the road and allow them
to pass you.
